The presence of clean, fresh water is important for the proper care and maintenance of captive reptiles and amphibians. The Exo Terra® Frog Pond has a very natural and realistic pebble finish that blends into any type of terrarium . The unique shape of the Frog Pond allows you to install the semi-recessed pond in the substrate to mimic a riparian zone. This design offers easy access for reptiles and amphibians to hydrate, while the shallow body of water and integrated steps prevent animals from drowning. 

IDEAL FOR DENDROBATES, TREE FROGS AND OTHER AMPHIBIANS.

Amphibians do not drink water, but instead replenish their moisture and ion levels through their skin by osmosis. They absorb water, through their permeable skin, from the humidity of their surroundings, as well as by sitting in a shallow body of water, absorbing moisture. Because most amphibians breed in temporary or permanent shallow pools, or carry their tadpoles into these bodies of water, the Frog Pond is an important accessory in all tropical terrariums.

Offer them fresh, clean water daily! Always treat tap water with Aquatize (PT1979) to remove harmful heavy metals, chlorine and chloramines, necessary to provide safe and healthy water for your reptiles and amphibians. Improve the nutritional value of drinking water by adding liquid Electrolytes (PT1993) and Calcium (PT1973) to promote healthy bone and muscle growth in your reptiles and amphibians.
